Default Randon flicker Esp8266 caused by line interference

    Good evening.
I have a setup of 3 esp in a single large box. With a single power supply serving all 3.
These are controlling lines of pixel runs.
On one of them I'm getting random flickering on the data line making the pixels flash. Not all at once but irregularly.
Has anyone else had this issue before. I'm going to try moving that esp to its own box and a seperate supply.
If I move the supply pigtail away from another run of pixels. The flickering decreases but is still there.
    Many thanks

Most likely the V- or Data line from the ESP to the first pixel has a bad connection.

    I've changed the cable.
The first pixel aswell as the pigtail ends.
I havent tried rterminating the esp connection yet.

How long is the cable from the esp to the first pixel?

Could this be too much of a run for a 5volt.

If you are using cheap wire, you need a line driver or a null buffer. If you are using CAT6 cable, you should be ok.
