    Default Another RenW question

I bought 3 of the newer verseion Renw boards from a member here last year. Programmed the xbee with the xtcu software last night. Had my transmitter hooked up to the computer, RenW powered with 5v. The led on the RenW is just flashing the LED. XCTU not seeing the RenW xbee when I search for connected radios. Any ideas? Pan ID is the same, 57600 baud, no parity. 1 stop bit. This is the same setup I have been running for years with no problems.

At first, you need to reset each XBee radio up manually because the PanID and other settings may not be the same. Once you configure them with exactly the same settings you should be able to see them all.

Yes. I did that using the xbee explorer and XTCU software. Set it up with the same Pan ID and same baud rate, parity, stop bits. I am not familiar with the RenW. My older ones plug right onto the Renard board. First version I think.

What does the led on the renw board indicate? Is it supposed to be blinking? Couldn't really find anything in the wiki.

    Ren-W is a DIGWDF product. Here's the assembly/user guide.

Do I set the transmitter as the controller, and receivers as the end user? Newer version of XCTU looks nothing like the older version.

No. Set all to end device with exactly the same parameters. Controller applies to a mesh network which you do NOT want.
