    Default Lights and HTML Video

    Our setup is simple:

A room full of lights, controlled via E682s, and other controllers hooked to our computer running Vixen 3.6u3. In addition, we have a large screen TV at the one end.
What I need to do is play an .mp4 at the same time as presenting the lights.

Can Vixen use an .mp4 and put the audio out the audio port, the video out the HDMI port, and the lights out the E1.31 (Ethernet) port at the same time?
(Yes - I've looked, but haven't found what I am looking for. Intuition says it is in there, somewhere, but ...)

During our presentations, we use a FPP. But can run directly from Vixen if needed.

TIA for any information I can get.

Vixen doesn't have any video support. So no, you can't do it from Vixen. But since you're using FPP, you can certainly convert the MP4 to MP3 and do the sequence in Vixen against the MP3. Then when you put it on the FPP, use the MP4 instead of the MP3 file.

    Thanks Jon.
While sequencing, I'm trying to view the video directly in Vixen.
So, I'll back up a bit and rip the audio out of the video, do the sequencing, and then use the Video in FPP.
(At least that is the way I read what you are saying.)
