    Yes ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡)

    For 5v pixels only !

    The esp-01 will do them also directly
    Just note that you power the pixels from a power supply and common the gnd with the Wemos .

    You still run the 5v power supply through the wemos though and connect the 5v pin to the pixels right? But power inject down the line?

    You can run 12V (power injected) pixels on the WeMos too, just make sure WeMos only gets 5V max.
