The only cable connected is the mini-USB to the BBB, No other power or data connections

Edit: Plug in mini-USB and let BBB Boot (2-3 minutes) Then web access 192.168.7.2BBB-usb-m.jpg

I have the board next to the computer and it is plugged into the computer with the original USB cable. I have 1 blue flashing light.
The USB file folder came up and I waited 4 minutes and tried to log on to 192.168.7.2 and it can't display the page .

I saw the word Beagle bone pop up for a split second.

It tried to access the beagle bone but it didn't so I ran a connection check and it said the device will not except the connection.

All this is done with just the USB cable.

YEA, I finally got the FPP page up.
After rereading the setup I was putting the Http// in the address. That is why it would not come up.
Once I put 192.168.7.2by itself the FPP page came up.
Thank you all for all your input. It has been one frustrating day.
    Thank you all

    One last question
Should the status be in the bridge or stand alone mode on the FPP page?
    Thanks to everyone

    a. FPPD Mode- There are four modes for the FPP

    i. Player (Standalone)-This setting is used when this FPP is going to operate without any interaction from an outside source like Vixen, XSchedule, XLights, or another FPP. This is commonly used if you only have one FPP in your show and have a playlist and schedule set up, or if you have an independent display that is not synchronized to the rest of your show. You will also need to have the appropriate Channel Outputs setup.

ii. Player (Master)-This setting is used if you are going to have more than one FPP and you want them to all be synchronized. The Master will need a copy of the sequences (.fseq) and media (music) files. The Master FPP will also be where your Playlists and Schedules are created. The Remotes that you want to be synchronized need to be identified in the MultiSync page as well. If the Master is also connected to a controller then the appropriate Channel Outputs will need to be setup.

iii. Player (Remote)-This setting is used if you are going to synchronize this FPP and attached controller to a Master FPP. The Remote will need a copy of all the sequences (.fseq) that are going to be played. If the remote is going to be projection videos to a projector, the video file will need to be save on the remote as well. You will also need to have the appropriate Channel Outputs setup.

iv. Bridge-This setting is used to accept E.131 input signals and pass them on to the attached controllers (i.e. Bridge). This is typically used for testing directly from Xlights without creating a sequence.

Thank you all for helping me.
The big thing I did not catch was that my browsers automatically added the http/ in front of the 192.168.7.2 that is why it didn't work and I couldn't get into the beagle bone controller to change the Ip address. Once I got rid of http/ I gained access and fixed everything.
Thank you all so much for helping me with all this frustrating stuff.
I am now good to go to start sequencing .
    Thanks again and again
    John
