    Default Layers

I have twinkle effect for my matrix and then set my pulse effect as intensity overlay for the matrix as well. As expected, the twinkle effect increases in brightness. As soon as i move the twinkle effect to one string of matrix, the whole matrix has a pulse effect.

How do i just affect the one string without affecting the others?

    Running Vixen 3.4

    Appreciate the help. Thank you

Probably the best bet is to upgrade to the latest 3.5 release if you are still running 3.4. There were some changes made early last year to help solve that exact problem. The Intensity overlay layer becomes just a mixer and does not produce an effect on items that do not already have an effect active on them. It in essence requires something to mix with or it does nothing.

A mixer makes sense. When one string has 'Twinkle' effect and the rest of strings are set to black with a 'Set Level' effect, then the one string increases in brightness. That's how I'm currently getting it to work. Time consuming. Guess I'll have to update to 3.5.

    Thank you Jeff
