Thanks, Al. I enjoy taking an inexpensive static, store-bought display piece and figuring out how to light it inexpensively, resulting in something entirely new. What's also nifty is that I'm able to use some leftover prototype/unused boards and other gear from the DIGWDF Store on these things to make them work -- stuff that never sold but is already paid-for and would otherwise be tossed-out.

That's the true meaning of DIY! Use what you have to make some cool stuff!

If one is good, then five must be better. These will replace the five wreaths that normally hang beneath some lights on the front of my house. Like the wreaths, each flake is individually wireless - but set here to the same channels for testing. They're planned for use in the 2020 show since I've seriously cut back for 2019 in an effort to get off the list for the tour buses...

How do they look at a distance?
As it is "reflected light" rather than "generated light", I can see where it may be a bit dimmer - but that may not be a bad thing. :|

I think they'll look further away. (DUHHHHHH..... )

Yes, it's reflected light, and I imagine that most of the time, I'd used them as full solid colors - when all the other lights are red, these will match, etc. But I think they could show some motion, too. I won't be as bright as looking directly at LEDs, but I think it'll still be bright enough. I'll try to take a couple outdoors and fire them up to see how they do.

The like button seems to disappear once you click on it rather than adding the like .
I don't see any visible likes here , do you see them ?
