    I haven't but looking at the video, I do have a concern. Proper technique is to place the iron to heat the surface to be soldered. Once heated applying the solder the the surface, not the iron itself, this avoids cold solder joints and draws the solder into the wire. Based on that technique, I'd stay away from this tool. The other reason is I'd pass is it's too big to control for detailed items like running a jumper wire on a pcb.

    I have the same and enjoy soldering, the hot air attachment now gets more work than the iron. I now do a lot of smd work.
