I saw this moving head on aliexpress and I was wondering if anybody has controlled this type of moving head with xLights before that can share his/her experiences with me. The moving head name is "Lyre beam 7r Moving Head 230W"

    Yes.
They can be controlled from xlights. I suggest joining the Facebook xlights group. Excellent resource

I didn't find anything in Facebook regarding this light but it is a large group and if you post, you might run into someone on there that has one that isn't monitoring this forum. You might also hear from someone who is DMX controlling a different light that might be able to offer insight.

My recommendation would be to invest in one of Tom BetGeorge's sequences that have moving heads in them. You will learn, as I did, a ton of practical information in terms of how to build and use various models for the heads' channel setup. I purchased a used head off of eBay to play with,,, and found there is a lot of set up to experiment with and learn from because there is no standard channel or value setup.

Not that specific one, but if it's DMX it can be controlled with xLights.
Have 2 different types of moving heads, LED Fog machine, and a Laser being controlled by xLights.

The tricky part is setting them up in the Layout tab if they are a non-standard device. Make sure you label the channels and watch for channels that control light output. One of my devices has a 'function' channel 0=off 255=on; guess how many times I've sequenced them and forgot to set that channel.

If you are buying multiple of the same type you can group them and control them as one, but there's a few tricks. Gil has a video how to (which Keith just fixed in one of the latest releases of xLights).
