I've already finished my display for 2019, sequencing is done, show is locked and loaded on the PC. I'm taking a few steps back next year and will try to get off the "list" of shows that the tour bus operators use -- a list that I've never asked to be on because I don't promote the display. If I can hear their big diesel engines idling inside my house, I'm sure my neighbors can, too, and that's a serious concern.

In addition to my tune-to sign, my whole show next year includes 10 signs. These 9 will be displayed whenever "Deck the Halls" is playing...

...and this one will be lit to hopefully explain why. I don't expect the buses to stay long, they'll cross me off the list and quiet will return to the neighborhood.

I have an Arizona ice castle as part of my display. The problem is that most people mistake the Arizona ice for mere water.

I too will be building an ice castle come this winter as soon as the snow falls in Phoenix.
