Default Can Renard SS24 drive these lights

    https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...7a994e4akOdACq

Was looking to use those instead of store bought light to give the house a more modern look- don't want to jump into Pixels just yet, but figured this would give me the pixel look.

Thoughts? Anyone used these? Would these be dimmable or just on/off?

2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show. Dim show (3000 pixels) had regular visits most nights.

Sorry should have been more clear....I would have these running with a 12v power supply (something like this- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FEOB4EI..._x.nwCbNQZJW20)

That would feed 12v DC but using the Renards to control them. Would that work and would that allow dimming?

You could with the wall warts but you would have a delay in timing. A 12v DC controller would serve you better.

    128 Renard Channels[/SIZE][/B]
sequencing with LightShow Pro 2.8 and/or Vixen 3 (using xLights scheduler)
2 x Pixel Mega Trees, RGB Pixel Roofline, 2 x RGB Pixel Spinners, 11 x Pixel Bushes, 6 x GECE Icicle Arches, 16 x RGB Mini Trees, 2 x Vertical Pixel Poles,
12 x 10w RGB Floods, 160 Strobes controlled by Arduino

Would the delay be “even”? Meaning I can use the delay function in FPP to get everything to sync? Also are these dimmable? I couldn’t tell from the description.

You would not get any dimming. Look into a DC version of the Renard. Those strips do dimming using PWM. Varying the 12v woould not result in anything you want.
