Default Pi or BBB with colorlight

Working on two 3x12 P5 panels and need to make a choice on controlling

I have a couple colorlights coming in, but need to know whether a BBB or Pi makes more sense with FPP to control. I can hardwire to dedicated network and know everything to colorlight needs to be gigabit.

I am thinking each matrix will have unique controller and colorbright. I have other Pis in light display today.

So pros/cons of Pi or BBB?

For ColorLight, use a Pi 3B+ with the gigabit out. The BBB's don't have a gigabit port (unless you get a SanCloud BBE, but that's way more expensive) so you would then also need an additional gigabit switch.

Got it, and makes sense - no experience with BBB, so was hoping for PIs
