Considering that I had to look up "Anaglyphs", I don't have an answer for you.
I do have some questions though: How is your audience seeing these? Are you handing out glasses?
Has anyone used anaglyphs (either static or animated) and red/cyan glasses with your pixel matrix?
If so, how well did the 3D effect work and how much horizontal red/cyan separation did it need?

Haven't done it yet, just considering it for next season, but, yes, I would likely hand out glasses and possibly also candy canes or something similar - gives a good "excuse" to mingle with the audience. The red/cyan glasses are pretty cheap for not-too-large quantities.
