What IP address did the Pi give you?
Do you know the IP address of the computer you're using?
If not, do you know how to find it?

Hi Ed,
No, we haven't changed internet provider, and the wifi is working on our phones and tablets.
Is there something i can do for the pi to connect to the network?

It might be easier to have me connect to your computer via TeamViewer which would allow me to navigate through your computer and see if I can figure it out remotely. If you are interested, PM me.

connect an Ethernet cable from your home network (router) to the PI. It should update the time and keep it updated. If the PI is off network then you could try rebooting it at midnight.
2019 - Going to visit my Daughter in New Zealand (again). I will be dark for the 2nd year in a row. Sigh..
