Default Attaching Icicle Lights to Metal Roof

Hi recently built a new home and I would like to do Icicle lights around the front porch over the garage bump out window, and above my garage doors. I have ordered 5mm icicle lights from Wintergreen and some plastic clips. However, after spending some time looking at the mounting points, I feel like I will have trouble clipping into the metal roof. I can clip onto the cutters for most of the front porch, but the gabled part has no gutter and there doesn't seem to be a good area to clip onto. The bump put has no gutters at all. Any ideas on how to hang the lights in those areas that doesn't involve drilling into the metal? I've included a pic of my house for reference.

What is the roof made of? Is there anyway you could glue magnets to the clips? Some of the crazy strong magnets?

Both roofs are standing seam metal. I tested them and they are magnetic.
