Which Pixel style for house outline?

I bought C9s from Ray Wu and have them all mounted to PVC for easier setup. The first couple of years I bought them that looked like traditional C9s with the base, but I've since switched to the flat base and put 2 zip ties on each side. I run them at 100%, whereas the other pixels I use in props are at 40% and I feel that works well for my show.

Would it be possible for you to send me a link to what you are using? I would really like to get somethings ordered.

I also like the C9 look for the house outline, so I'm using Ray's C9 string with a flat base as well.
Attached them to 1/2" PVC pipes with one strap on each base, seems to hold ok.

I had Ray supply these with a 6" spacing for the house outline, and 12" spacing for the strings along the driveway.

I first started buying ones like in your third link. I have switched to using ones like in your second link. I asked him to put 18 AWG wire on.

First year using them, so not a clue about their durability, but they are epoxy resin filled, and there is no junction of wires as the bottom, which is usually a risk for moisture.

The C9 Pixabulbs aren't as bright as bullets or square nodes. They are diffused. My house outline in c9's is at 100% intensity. The only thing I run above 30% intensity. I replaced the strip house outline with the C9's last year and nothing but compliments. I don't recommend strip...

I run the C9's at 30%, and could hardly notice any difference between 50% and 100%. 30% is a little less "in your face" than 50-100%, but based on my experience, I would not really recommend running at more than 50%, as the difference is hardly noticeable, and consuming half the energy is quite relevant I guess

Would C9 Pixels spaced at 12" generally look ok? I'm debating on 4" vs. 12" spacing.

My current house outline is full wave C9 LEDs at 12" spacing. And the stock C9 pixels are at 4" spacing, which seems a little dense and is 3 times more expensive...

Looking for honest feedback here - even if it's "buy once, cry once" and go with 4" spacing...
