Some radios have a buffer in them now. Kinda like a DVR. I can pause live radio for up to 30 minutes. Maybe that's causes a slight delay?

Has anyone heard of the newer car radios having a delay in them.
at the end of last year I spoke with a couple of people that said the lights were not timed to the music.
anyone else get reports like that.

Maybe Android based?
If you clear the memory in your radio prior to changing the station it will not buffer. FFWd button will clear it in most GM vehicles
Makes sense; most radios these days do the magic in software; the RF gets digitized and passed thru some form of a DSP to demodulate it (and convert the digital data in Sirius et al) to audio. All of that takes time. Far cry from cat's whiskers and oatmeal containers...

Even though the DIGWDF Store has been closed for two years, it's still awesome!
User guides, documentation and other files are still free and available for downloading.
My next question is ..... anyone concerned about this and if so what are you trying to do to overcome it.
