    Default Esp8266 and xlights

    Hello there,

Now I'm starting building a Christmas spiral tree with 500 ws2811 pixel leds, I was able to controlled the lights using the fastled library using nodemcu v3 as a controller and I would like to use a xlights sequence.
I found tutorials for Vixen 3(working with arduino) but nothing on Xlights and for my light show I would like the effects from xlights software ).
I don't know where to start and any advice would be greatly appreciated, obviously I'm pretty new at this.

    Thanks in advance,

Have you seen this post already? http://doityourselfchristmas.com/for...ut-vixen/page2

Xlights outputs to the .fseq format, and the code linked in that post was tested and worked with a fseq file on an ESP8266.

I looked over and I see that he uses sd card, do you know if I could use flash memory (I have extra flash memory32 mb)?

Thanks for your links I will read them and try to work with this, somehow I would like to output the song to some speakers and I don't my if the controller is connected to my laptop.
And I saw that I have some limitation on the number of leds and the size of the light show if i would upload the .fseq file (would slow down the frame rate).
