Network with a switch

Trying to connect 2 WIN10 computers together with a switch.
Set static IP on both
Same Subnet Mask
File Sharing On

Computer 1 connects to Computer 2
Computer 2 does not connect to Computer 1

One word: Firewall. Verify private or public network. PING the machine in question.

When all else fails, I search Microsoft.

Permissions are not set right. You may also have missed a permission in the file sharing settings on the directory you want to share. Verify the network group name is the same on both machines.
