    Default RBL Knock-Off?

Has anybody purchased one of these and added pixels? These are 1" smaller than the RBL's, and battery powered.

I just found a 3D printable part to add 9 pixels to these.

Thank you for posting this , I just picked up 12 of them .
Rather than nodes, I will install strip like a filament and test marbleized effects .

Any chance you could post some videos when you get one going? I’m very interested in this!

    Here is an interesting read.
    That's a feature not a bug.
    There's no charge for that.

I will for sure . Have taken one apart and started the to put back together .
The first thing I did was analyze how these were designed and what I discovered is that creative thought went into them .
I am going to follow the original designers lead and install strip precisely as done .
The design was to truly replicate the original bulbs ,right down to the filament .
This is notable once hung in place and observing the appearance .

I will use the original battery bays for strip and replace the tray cover with clear material .
Will refit 2 of them in the next while 1- for hard wire connecting and 1- for complete wireless operation and android app control .

I like this bulb size so much that I am going to make copies in near clear material then buy some more for the caps .
Also these do not require many pixels to illuminate nice , 10 is actually overkill but I did it anyway .
