    Default PIxel data input????

    Hello everyone.

I was wondering if anyone would happen to know what would happen if you had two controllers sending a data signal to a pixel?

I'm asking because I was wondering if it was possible to have a dumb controller for easy app usuage for my wife, and for me to have a smart controller that I could program for a show or something. As we have permanent leds mounted under our roof line.

If they're both sending data, it won't work.

A better solution is one controller and send it data from something that can operate in different modes. Or another way to do it is with a controller that has multiple modes of operation.

I run my year round landscape flood lights from ESPixelSticks. Using it's MQTT functionality, I'm able to switch it back and forth from full sACN operation from a show player, to a self sufficient mode of static colors. My home automation system sends the MQTT commands to switch the mode, and set the color when in static mode.
