    great question, we were totally independent. we just stood there for this video. Each of us had a pouch sewn into out hoods on the back that held a battery, Wemos board and the EL wire control shield. My pack also had a Raspberry Pi2 and a small wifi router so we were connected with WIFI and I used E131 for the data transmission. We walked around the neighborhood. We ran them for 3 hours on the battery with no issues.
