Default Newbie Question on Managing Controllers

I'm in the process of building my first megatree this year and have two questions

    1) I'm using PixLite 16 Long Range MkII. The controller connects to a system using a Cat 5E.

Does anyone know if there is a wireless receiver that I could plug in and control from my computer remotely (I have limited network congestion) or am I stuck using a rasberry Pi with FPP?'

    2) I plan to use the controller on a tree that stands 12 feet tall (starting out small) with 24 pixel strands. Do I need to get a second controller to achieve this goal as the max lights are well under the limit of each controller?

Thank you in advanced for any help you can provide.

Any WiFi Media bridge would allow you to access a controller remotely. They are a backwards WiFi router.

2019 - Going to visit my Daughter in New Zealand (again). I will be dark for the 2nd year in a row. Sigh..
