Default Fan effect over a longer period of time.

I need to make a 4 hour sequence and want to have the fan effect on a megatree for the entire period of time. it obviously spreads the settings across the whole time so it appears to just sit still the whole time. Even on 5 seconds, it slows down at the end and stops and then restarts.

Is there a way to get the fan effect working at "normal speeds for a extended period of time instead of time?

The revolutions tops out at 10. It won't play any faster so you will have to fake it.
You can try shortening the effect to whatever time period you are happy with. I tried it 30 seconds. I then inserted a second layer and copied and pasted with just a slight overlap. To my eyes, the effect was relatively seamless. I think I saw a slight color shift but pretty seamless. Then select both; copy and paste. Increase the selection each time by the new section and you will be able to fill 4 hours pretty quickly.
