Default Power cords for Meanwell power supplies

    Hi everyone,

Iím wondering what gauge of wire I need to use when I add a power cord to a Meanwell power supply.

Iím using two different power supplies this year. One is a Meanwell LRS-150 12 volt 150 watt 12.5 amp and the other LRS-100 5 volt 90 watt 18 amp.

For testing purposes, I just used the power cord from an old computer and it worked just fine, but I feel like the wires seem a little thin.

    Thoughts?

    Ken

If you read the Meanwell spec document, these units require less than 3 amps of AC power.
Any computer supply cord you find will no doubt meet those requirements.
