Default NewHouse & Distracting Drivers... Is this a potential problem?

I am looking at purchasing a new house (and YES, I will always think about how I would apply lights on the new house! lol)
and came across a wonderful house, but had some questions to consider.

It faces an active street people drive by all the time.

There is a Park across the street with optimal viewing for the potential show (8 cars could comfortably see it and more if people stood on the sidewalk where the park is), but since it would be on a live street, cars would be passing by all the time. I'm partially worried my show would then obviously distract the drivers and then lead to possible wrecks... would I be held responsible/liable due to the neglect of the driver?

...also, due to the location, I'd be worried that as popularity of the show increases, the whole neighborhood would be upset if traffic gets awful.
What should I do?!? Let the house go and keep looking?

I would be worried about avg speed on the road. Personally I would not put a show up on any main road or a road with a speed limit higher 30.

Honestly I wouldnt worry about what others do or dont do while driving. If there is a park next to the house then they SHOULD stop and park there to watch. Even in a normal neighborhood distracted drivers could hit other cars and such.

I would also be concerned in general about the noise factor you face being so close to a busy street....... just sayin.

The speed limit is 25. I am also concerned about noise from Harley motorcycles. Eh, we’ll see. I emailed the city.

Make another pixel sign that says " Slow done and enjoy the lights" , but seriously if the speed limit is 25 mph , your next to park where kids , people, pets etc. are all around I think you will be ok.
I'm curious as to what the city says on your e-mail..

The house will last a life time ( blinky flashy -------------- not so much )
Buy the house you choose . Take things ONE step at a time .
Don't assume the traffic will be so bad that it will interfere with/or disrupt your neighbors or road traffic.
Isn't that like thinking if you pour a glass of milk , you MIGHT spill it . So in the end , you wind up NOT pouring that glass of milk in FEAR of POSSIBLY spilling it ?
If the house is what suites you and is what you want for a house , then by all means ... BUY it !
