    Default EasyLights Stand-Alone MegaTree demo

I thought I would share what my EasyLights controller would do in a show.

The video below shows the WebSite easylights.com and how someone would set up a PlayList and Show Schedule.

The end of the video shows the schedule being activated/modified and how the board responds in realtime.

If there was more than one prop in the show (multiple controller) - the shows will sync all controller using either hardwire ethernet cable or WIFI -- all within 15msec of each other -- well within the frame rate of 25 msec.

In the near future, anyone with Vixen or Xlights generated sequences will be able to upload them to easylights.com and have them converted to run stand-alone.

If you have an interest in that -- leave a note on easylights.com --- if the demand gets real high -- the time table may be able to be moved up.

I hope you enjoy --- it's been two years in the making --- a 16 port pixel controller, a 24 port AC controller, and an FCC approved FM transmitter. The can play via E131 (directly from Vixen, Xlights, and FPP) or play in stand-alone mode with no outside computer or RasPI required.

    Thanks for your ear.

    Joe

Will the controllers operate in a normal mode without being tied to the Website ?

I have a HinksPix that appears to be stuck in limbo after doing a factory reset .

The ip the controller is displaying is unreachable .

Absolutely. All EasyLights controllers are fully-capable E1.31 / ArtNet devices.

Why would I want to upload my sequences to a server just to have them downloaded to the controller? A show player is pretty cheap. What's the use case you have in mind?

To operate in stand-alone mode - not everyone wants to buy and program a RasPI.
