Sincec I'm running at 25% that scenerio is probably overkill for me.

At 25% you may not need to inject at all....should be able to do the full 220, but I wouldn’t do that, you may want something brighter. Your original plan and injection is good

Your latest sketch is the best

Its just like your posted PI scheme just moving the PI to the last string in the set instead of the 3rd, and passing +V between 2 & 3. This will help balance the voltage level across all the pixels. But again as long as both power sources are from the same PSU if they are different PSUs then you have to cut the +V

I tried 220 pixels (12 volts) at 25% and noticed a slight discoloration at the end of the last string on white. That's when I decided I would run the first 110 of the controller and inject for the next 110 which worked out just fine. I have no intention of running more than 25%. It makes the colors more pleasing and the colors don't run together making a big bright blob. However, I just may make a change and run 440 pixels off one output and inject every 220 pixels which woukd free up more outputs. I have one bank of 4 outputs dedicated to Renard so opening up a couple more for pixels would be helpful.

Just as a matter of sharing....If were building this, I would over kill to ensure best power . . . whether I needed it or not. Here is my sketch for your situation.
