    Question Renard ESP Firmware

I have not given up on running my SS Renards wireless.

I have a bunch of Bill Porter boards and one hacked board to run the ESPPixelStick firmware native in serial mode.

Is GitHub the latest firmware to try?

Does the firmware still load on 1MB ESP's?

If memory serves me correctly, Bill Porter designed the Renard ESP board and the firmware to use it, and he used the ESP's TX pin as the data output from the ESP module. Shelby's firmware uses the GPIO2 pin instead. You'll have to either use Bill's version of the firmware or hack the board to use Shelby's version.

The latest Firmware by Shelby w/ his flash tool is here and it does use the GPIO2 pin so you would need to modify Bill's boards

For Bill's latest Firmware, based on Shelby's v2.1 code w/ Flash tool, but using the TX pin, you can download it here
