    Default xLights 3D Beta program

While it looks great in videos we know there are going to be issues with the new 3D mode in xLights and we need some help finding them.

The xLights development team (and particularly Gil Jones) is pleased to invite suitably experienced users to participate in the xLights 3D Beta program.

To be eligible all of the following need to apply:

    1. You need to be a reasonably experienced xLights user. We need you to be able to identify issues and you can only do that reliably if you already know your way around the software.
    2. You need to take full accountability for keeping backups of your existing files. If the beta screws it all up and you dont have backups then your work will be lost. We do not warrant that once you use 3d you can go back to the old version.
    3. You need to be willing to actually invest time in testing the software. We have already done a lot of the basics ... we need people who are going to spend a bit of time in the software and find the bugs we haven't seen.
    4. You agree to put some serious effort into your bug reports. Bug reports must be accompanied by a video showing the problem with audio explaining what you are doing. When submitted we need the video and a simple sequence where appropriate to reproduce the problem.
    5. You need to have or be willing to create a GitHub account as the only way we want to manage bugs is via this page. but only after checking your issue is not already there and not already on our enhancement list which is here . We do not want the main forum/facebook group cluttered up with 3D bug reports. We will delete posts and if necessary mute users who keep breaking this rule.

It is hard to say how long the Beta will run for but we are keen to keep it as short as possible and will be focused on bugs rather than enhancements as those can always be done later.
