    Default SSC-32 plugin

I am looking to purchase a SSC-32 to operate a 3 axis skull with Vixen. I have seen stated that it will work with the Minissc plugin.
Is anyone using this setup? I have been using Vixen for several years and would like to continue to do so. I have searched this forum and the Halloween forum and have not been able to find any thing solid about setting this system up. I have also not been able to find a place to down load
    the Minissc plugin.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    thks

I think LynxMotion still makes these, but it may be a USB version instead of the serial port version.

This might be of interest to you.

Thatís not an output type we have in V3. But that being said, I know nothing about it. Does it by any chance use a standard protocol?

The SSC-32 I am looking at has a USB connection. I have read that it will run with a Mini-SSC plugin for VIXEN.
As I stated above I am unable to find this Plugin. Has anyone heard of it?
I went ahead and ordered the SSC-32 today, so the commitment has been made. Now the scramble to get it to work.LOL

The original version of this seems to be simple. The lynxmotion version is a bit more complicated. Both appear to be standard serial output.

The original version was sync (xFF), server 0-7, and position (0-254).

    The lynxmotion uses # <ch> P <pw> S <spd> T <time> <cr>
    ● <ch>: pin / channel to which the servo is connected (0 to 31) in decimal
    ● <pw>: desired pulse width (normally 500 to 2500) in microseconds
    ● <spd>: servo movement speed in microseconds per second*
    ● <time>: time in microseconds to travel from the current position to the desired position.
This affects all servos (65535 max) *
    ● <cr>: carriage return (ASCII 13)

I do use the SSC-32 (serial) to run my skeleton quartet, but I program in VSA and use Haunt Monkey's Helmsman to start the programs. Seems like there is also a program called VSA console that is needed. I used the MiniSSC (0-255) and Vixen 2.1 once to use the Pololu board which worked very well. Here is a link to one of my vids. Good luck!
