Drilling into my (EXPENSIVE) windows is not what I want do do. And with the screw eyes and cable ties, the cable duct is easy to remove if needed. Also I can remove one side, instead of the whole frame, for repairing dead pixels as needed.

How far from the house did you position those pixels?

Maybe 6 inches. The channel is flush with the Eve's.

If you use any kind of PVC, pipe, square tubing, channels, whatever, remember that plastic that's not UV-stabilized doesn't do well outdoors: it gets brittle and often discolors. If you're investing a lot of money and time in a pseudo-permanent installation, also remember that pixels sometimes die and when they do, they sometimes take out other pixels in the process so your installation setup needs to accommodate repairs.

I have had mine up through 2 Ottawa Winters and working like a charm. Rpi,picap,PSU are in garage and no issues with -40 degrees or just recently +40 degrees and no discoloration.

I would check w/ Electrical Supply houses locally, this is pretty common stuff and should be available in your local market, or at least locally in Canada at worst. You should not need to purchase from a US supplier.
