If setup properly you can put the Pi in bridge mode and do on demand editing.

I choose a Pi or BBB to run the show because it does it extremely well. I donít have to worry about conflicts with other applications or updates effecting the show. YMMV.

Typically the Tuesday and Wednesday night before Thanksgiving I will test the show and change things that I don't like.

Sometimes the sequence looks good on my computer screen but then on the display it doesnt. The amount of on demand editing is minimal though.

I find myself making changes for the first one or two weeks until I just give up on them. I do not find the upload to be a major problem.

If I find something I don't like, I go to the main computer, adjust, export and load to FPP.....all without stopping the show.
The new file loads, and plays the next time it's called. It just works.

I will do the same. Sequence (and then tweak when needed) on my main computer and run the show off my Pi with FPP. I have them on separate networks (VLANs), but can access the Pi for uploads, config etc.

How many people use LOR software to sequence and then an Pi to run the show?
