I get 1 mile+ and no hum unless I crank my audio levels past 8/10
Wow 107 feet.....that's impressive. But I got a little lost on the description..... "copper water pipe ferrite at the audio input" ....threw me...does that mean you use a J-Pole made of copper and at the input to the FM02 there's a ferrite 'critter' of some sort? LOL.... Sorry but I'm a literalist and easily go down wrong paths if left to fill in the blanks.....

I had fun making the GP-Vx antenna over the years. Glad to see they are still being used.
