It's configured for 14 but only have 1 board of 8 relays hooked up at the time. On the sequence I am sending 1 channel at a time.

Hi, is this a chase running across all 14 channels (1, then 2, then 3 ect)? How long is the on time for each channel?

Below is a link to a tester that is quite good for sorting out problems like this. It enables you to switch on and off channels without needing Vixen or xLights. It was written by one of the Austrailian sesonal lighting guys.

    https://www.da-share.com/software/da_tester/

The set it to unicast, the port number is 5568 and you know the IP address you flashed the Nano with.

If you click on the faders tab you can try channels one at a time.

Hi, I'm UK so it bed time this side for today. That rules out lots of issues, I'll have a think and get back tomorrow.

EDIT: It sounds like you have more than one Nano, it might be worth flashing one with an IP on your home network and see if that router is any different. The tester doesn't send out lots of packets like Vixen an xLights can so it shouldn't flood your network.

Do all Nano's have a different IP and mac-address?
    Errors for fun only.

I've only hooked up one at a time for now. they are both identical flash. I also tried on my home network and got same results.

Hi, I'm at my bench now. I've got to solder pins into a Nano and then I'll try to replicate the problem. I used this code over Halloween without any issues but haven't used it since as I don't do much with relays.

Hi, all the testing has not been able to replicate your delay. I have found something that I've not tried before; you can eliminate the router / network switch and plug the Ethernet cable from the Nano directly into your PC / laptop whilst using the da-tester. It would be interesting to see if that has any effect / reduces the delay. Obviously this would not be an option for later but it would rule out delays through the router / network switch.

As a side thought is your PC / laptop wired or wirelessly connected to your show network?

Sorry been super busy. I was able to eliminate the lag using da_tester. It is still lagging on xlights and vixen. I hope to tinker with it a bit this weekend. Thanks
