I have a 30x30 matrix that runs with my show. Tune to/Messages/images are all displayed on it from my Pi, which runs the whole show. No issues.

Use my 3x4 Matrix last year than ran my video, etc. I built a dedicated 2x2 Matrix for it this year.

I run a remote FPP 2x2 P5 tune to sign synced to the main show. It displays changing patterns of the song information and FM station.

Thank you all for telling me the many ways you all use your tune to sign. I think I will just "get over" the large file size and put the matrix back into the show instead of running it separately.
