Jeff, it's 3.5. I couldn't get it to work in other versions either.

I should add, this is in preview setup. When I'm sequencing the preview window stays on the 2nd monitor. Will that make a difference?

I guess I am maybe confused. The preview window and the preview setup window will not both be open at the same time. When you edit a preview, the preview viewer window will close while it is being edited. Once the editing is finished, it should reopen where it was before. In your screen shot there with the preview setup and the preview viewer open, that has to be two different previews. Is that maybe what is going on?

Jeff, it's the preview window setup that doesn't hold the setting. The preview window does work properly when in preview window mode, just not in preview setup.

Okay. So I launch Vixen. Click on preview and then select Configure Preview. I drag the preview over to second monitor. I close preview and Update. Follow same steps and window is back in main screen.

the way I do it is move the whole configure preview window over to my second monitor and each time I open it the whole preview config page opens on 2nd monitor leaving my main monitor for me to do my sequencing on

Ahh, I see said the blind man. I am pretty sure there is not any logic there to save the docking window info when they are undocked like that in the setup. That is the first I have seen of anyone doing that. So you can create a ticket to report that and we can see about adding that.

What happens if you don't click on "update"? Just open the preview again.

when you close and reopen the preview is set back to being docked in the preview setup page that is why I have moved the whole preview setup page to my #2 monitor so when it opens it is on that monitor and I can have my monitor 1 for other things
