Default Wearable lightshows....jackets, shirts, hats, what did you use?

For anyone who has made 'wearable lights' (shirts, jackets, hats, etc) what type of pixels did you use? And what was the specific prop for that application? I am working on a project that may make putting these types of props together easier. Will share more once I get it finalized, still experimenting right now.

Joel did a matrix on his back with a wireless module. He documented here somewhere. I think his user id is jrock.

I think Dave has done something like this. At least he once encouraged me to do the same with some pixels I didn't know what to do with.

In order to add a bit of pizzazz to my ugly sweater, I added 5v pixels to it. This wasn't a typical sweater but one my mother crocheted for me. (Won me ugly sweater contest) So putting the pixels in was easy. I later added 3D printed round covers to keep the pixels from coming out. I ended up using 50 count 5V pixels, a cell phone battery pack and an ESPixelstick. It ran 6 hours on the battery pack. I added it to in Vixen and it became a part of my light show. We hand out candy canes and people really liked it. When I felt like embarrassing my family I would put the ESPixelstick in rainbow test mode and go around town with it on. I am hoping this year to set it up with a PI Zero W running FPP so I can run standalone sequences on it when I am not close enough to my home wireless network. I am wanting to add pixels to the matching pants this year and possibly a strip and pixels to my Santa hat.

I started looking at that thread the other day, but noticed it was from 2012 and I know pixels have come a long ways since then. I'll look through it better though

Love it! But I don't think I could possibly find a sweater like it... Maybe I need to check the local thrift store.

But that is exactly what I also hope to do, perhaps for next year.

That was the Mark one jacket.
Your want the Mark 2 version
    8 p6 panels for a 64 by 64 matrix.
    Battery powered and wireless.

Lets get serious, I have over 10,000 channels on my back, just where do you want to start counting.
