Default what to do with leftover pixel strip

Hello everyone. I moved last year and I'm in the early stages of re-designing a light display for this year. With that said. I want to ditch the pixel/rgb stips I used on my windows and roof line and use pixel strings (strips were a pain to keep up and repair). With that said. What should I do with the extra salvageable pixel strip? Anybody mixed and match strings and strips on the house? E.g. Stings on roofline, and strips on windows, etc? Did it look okay? Just trying to get ideas before I take the plunge on more strings. Thanks!

I think the best thing anyone can do with 'left over' pixel strips is to send them to me ~!

Hi, you can make flood/wall washers from dumb RGB strips.

Use them to make dual sided props as I have done .

Encased in epoxy for ultimate water proofing .

Good ideas. I think arches will probably be the best use. Ive just got so much of the stuff and a lot of it needs repair. Dumb rgb, ws2811, and lpd6803 strips. Hmmm. May also look into some pex tube for some driveway markers. I never can get these strips waterproofed all the way. Water always finds a way through the sleeve. Plus always seems like a led segment loses a color or the soldered bridges connecting the led segments shorts out. Ground level strips for now on! Lol

I gave most of mine away when I replaced house outline strip with C9 Pixabulbs. I couldn't charge someone for used strip. I hate strip... Will never use again and I couldn't sleep at night if I charged someone for it. I suppose I've given away or thrown away close to 1,000 feet of 30/10 strip. I'm over it, no place for it in my display. Did I mention I don't like strip?
