    It seems to me the cost of building one of these is fixed in terms of the pi, HAT and power supply with the cost difference being the panels.
    Correct? Sure is a big difference between the panels.

    At the time Jim did his video, I don't think FPP had BRIGHTNESS control....it does now. Go back to post 1 and see a good comparison. Though it is not video, video has the same control as shown.

    Verify the screw hole layout. There are several design out there for these P5.
    Also, choose your pixel wisely. You have SMD3528 and SMD2121. 3528 are maybe 1/3 more.
    I've picked the SMD2121. With 4 times the pixel, a little smaller pixel may be better.

    They are HUB 75 connectors for data. Mr Google has lots of pics.
