Default Coro singing tree, bulbs and pumpkin.. i am a newbie as well...

I have been a member of this for him for about a month or two and I finally got the urge to build my own seeing elements for Christmas and Halloween. I am a newbie at this and this is my first time building this kind of singing elements with Christmas lights. I have work with Coro in the past but not in this fashion. I just wanted to post up some images of what I've been working on to get advice, as well as show some of the newbies like myself how easy it is to make these elements.

By the way if anyone has advice I'm making a Coro Matrix screen that would be very helpful as well. In the one picture you could see the starting of it off to the side

Holes are all punched in the Coro as well for bulb population using a harbor freight $3 soldering iron. i believe the tree is about 1,100 bulbs and the pumpkin is about another 500 or so. tree stands about 7' high and the pumpkin is 5'x5'. bulbs are alittle less then 3' tall.

Those images look real nice .

1/2 x 1/2 welded wire is the ultimate solution for pixel node matrix.

The plastic coated 1/2 x 1/2 wire garden fencing works well also , but has weak wire the breaks easy if worked to much .

Coro would be a last case resort IMHO.

Are you using pixels? If so, then there is a printed pixel pusher available that will reduce (not eliminate) the destruction of your thumbs as you populate those elements.

2019 - Just moved into a new home (yet another change of plans). Will be dim but not dark. Too much to do at the new place to leave time for a show.

    Love the tree and bulbs

They are very easy to build and add so much to the show. What spacing did you go w/ for the lights?

I would love to do that snowman. Do you have a good quality picture of it so I can use the projector and project the image on the coro and trace it out?
