test1: Strips mounted and soldered
test2: 2" risers added for depth
test3: Round side finished and ESPixelStick test running rainbow before top added to structure.
Final pics next..
Let me know what you think! Yes it was a lot of soldering but worth it!

Looks very good.
Where are you planning on using this snowflake? Inside? Outside?
If outside, since you used what my grand daughter calls, "naked lights" (no water protection) - how are you going to seal the snowflake?
This is one of 2 that I will be making along with a giant wreath (60") that will have a bow and bells for my 2nd story on outside of house.
The pic before is pre-finish. I capped the snowflake with "Natural" color coroplast which is a bit more translucent than white. Here is a pic along with video sample using xlights e1.31 over wifi. The time to build wasn't as bad as you might think. The structure about 2 days, and the electronics/soldering about 3 (not all day). I have the xlights model and build template exported if anyone is interested.
Looks very good.

Yes, I see that you did put a front cover on the Snow flake, but how did you seal all the seams in the Coro? You pieced the sides together so it is not one continuous piece, then there are the Front and Back, how is it water proofed?

I would presume he used Hot Glue, like building a HolidayCoro RGB Coro Cane.

Give nglantz.com a try in Milpitas ca... there are others in San Jose Ca too... NGlantz had several colors. These are 4mm thick, but when honeycombed in my case it is super strong.
Exactly! I found Gorilla Glue sticks at Walmart to be strong and cost effective. Here is my 7 foot tall candy cane with ribbon/bow! Been going on 3 yrs now with no water inside and having been through many rain storms!
