    Default SS24 power issue

Hoping someone can shed some light on my power issue with my ss24.

Channel 1-12 output measuring 8vac, channels 13-24 measure 119vac on the neutral side. Power light is lit, nothing on the board leds though. The board was put together by a friend who decided not to go with blinky. Looks to be assembled correctly. Being a novice myself, this is way beyond my level of expertise.

Can you upload some pictures of the board? Top and bottom.

You need to hook the ac power to two places on the ss24. Check to make sure you have power input on both ends of the board. Here is the troubleshooting guide http://www.doityourselfchristmas.com...he_Renard_SS24

Power is connected to both ends and have 120VAC at the fuse. Went through the WIKI troubleshooting, maybe missed something, will go back through. Tried to upload pics, keeps error out. very puzzled by the 120VAC on the neutral side.

The neutral is just connected straight through. Why does that confuse you?

where in the trouble shooting guide did the board fail?

Failed at step 13 I guess. Measures 10VDC @D3 & D4. Read the guide to indicate this was correct... It appears I'm wrong. So I need to try replacing the voltage regulator.??.. At least I have plenty of time to work through this...

Do you have 4.8 - 5.0 volts at the test points?

If everything is installed correctly, I think I would start with a reflow of all of the solder joints. Some of the voltages are out of range.

Try to take a good (large) picture top and bottom to post.
