yeah, now that I sat and looked at it all it may be closer to 40 pounds, each panel is about 1/4lb so 50 panels is 25 pounds, maybe another 5 pounds in power supply, wires etc... and a few more pounds in the materials to build the frame

My 30 panel matrix has to weight at least 45 lbs.
The red circles for the hooks would have to be screwed into the window headers to ensure a solid anchor.
The other questions is how would you get that up there. Certainly not using a ladder with something that size and weight.
P10's are the only way to go for the project you want to build.
Video will look fantastic and the color range and brightness cant be beat.

yeah I definitely need to hit headers, I may have a contractor come by once it warms up and do it for me so I know its in good and then I will have to figure out how I get this on the window each year, was thinking 2 guys, 2 ladders, climb up and hook on like a picture

Your braver than I am. But something that size will be impressive.
You might consider aluminum products like these
    https://m.alibaba.com/product/607217...76d36aaaFu5Ga5
which are built for P10 displays. But someone on the forum - JCook I think - had problems with the product arriving damaged.
These would be nice because they are so much light than wood.

I like those, im assuming the grooves are cut to fit in the hardware like boscoyostudios p10 pieces that we use to connect panels together?

Yes and the small groove would be for the plexiglass. I really want to give them a try.

hmmmmmm I may order some, I like this idea, then I just need 2 long wood supports on both side in back to really support the weights, I doubt I can hang this by the aluminum

wound up being 54 panels, and 6 wide by 9 tall, I love the way this looks. Going to run sume 1x3's up the back for support and then wrap it in 3M protector. cant wait for the warmer weather so I can start to plan the mounting part

here are 2 videos I shot quick
