Default Power Injection and multiple installs

Weird question but I was wondering if this would work.

when i mount pixels on roof line inside a jchannel, id like to have the inject wire follow inside the channel and inject every 50 pixels ( where the supplier has extra red/white for injection. )

if i do this and tap in every 50 would that lower the injection at the end of say 800 pixels or would it not make a difference ?

The voltage will be reduced by the resistance in the wire. However, if you figure out the current required and size the wires (power and ground) properly, you can run a single feed. For 800 pixels, that's about 48 amps full white. You need a BIG wire. Or you could run 3 sets of 12 gauge.

I use this calculator to get my voltage drops: http://www.calculator.net/voltage-drop-calculator.html
As Ed states, you need to run these "bus" wires for both ground and +V.

    I ran 8 sets of 16 Gauge.

2017 adding 2 more candy canes, 7 Mid trees and a Halloween show. Removing most 2812 strips and replacing them with bullet pixel mounting strips. Replacing many buck converter waterproof bags with printed boxes.
