What's the proper way to install these dev builds? I don't see the typical setup.

    Thanks!

I have 510 running now and a show is up (daytime inflatables) with the real show scheduled to start at 5:30. I will check it at 11 when it stops to confirm the fix. Thanks DEVS!!!

Just run the .exe installer from the download site. It will be the usual Vixen install except it will install the program into a new folder (Vixen Development) under Program Files rather than the default Vixen folder. The DEV version will still look for Profiles in your Documents folder so nothing else should change for you.

I like to live on the edge so I changed the install folder to Vixen so the install replaced my old version with the DEV version. Since I knew this was a patch release I was not too worried about breaking anything.

When you launch the program it should read your profiles and pull your settings just like the other version and look exactly the same to you except a pop-up warning it is a DEV version.

    Cheers!

This is a patch on top of the 3.4u3 release and can be found in the development builds download section on the Vixenlights web site. This should also resolve the issue of the up next showing tomorrow for the next show when it should really be today.
Edit: I found the file im downloading it now i went to open my program to make a new sequence and all 3 windows pop open then right back shut i didn't know what was going on... its funny cause i feel sleep lastnight and left the pc open then today it wont open

Well it seems my AVG thought the file was harmful and wasn't letting it install as it should. i had to stop it and uninstall and re install it seems to be working now.

I just got home again and it looks like the daytime show transitioned to the night time show properly. Looking good!
