Default Xlights scheduler - Pre-show music, requires one output to lights for Tx control how?

I have the new xLights scheduler running perfectly with both show, and Pre-show, playlists doing what they should do, happily outputting batch files to run my Ledtrix panels fine :-) Many thanks Keith. :-)

"Small problem" though - I cannot figure out how to set up the "audio files only" music playlist, to send one, "fully on", lone channel of data out to the lights hardware to turn on my FM transmitter, concurrently with the audio. This channel needs to be "on" for as long as the playlist runs, about 30 mins.

After two hours of video's I cannot deduce the method - sorry, any information gratefully accepted at this late stage.

You need to add a set playlist item into each step to set that one channel while the song is playing. This has to be done in each step. Or you could create an eseq which does the same thing.

Thank you Keith, I was thinking "globally" not step-wise, sorry :-( Did you mean I add the step "Add All Set" into each music track event to handle the individual channel I need to activate, timed to be the same length as the track involved ??. If so that is certainly not difficult :-)

    Thanks for your help again,

Adding it to each step would work. It you can also add it in a background sequence. Although there is an option you would need to select to turn it off when no sequence was playing.

That did the trick perfectly and works like a charm to set one lone channel fully on for the duration of each song, fantastic :-)
