Power Injection --- Can I skip the T's?
My setup is similar to this image where I have a 50 pixel strand powered from the controller, and then about 100 pixels directly connected to the end of the first strand. (no power) and powering both ends from the second power supply.
I know I should use a T for the power injection (circled in the image)... but I don't currently have any... Couldn't I just simply solder an additional wire to the positive power injection (One each for positive and negative) and heat shrink the T-connection with hot glue to help waterproof it? (It wouldn't be so much of a T... but more of a "Y" connection?... like the first wire splitting into 2 "------====")

Use adhesive lines Shrink tube, depending on where yer at, you can get T heat shrink as well, but that will work just fine.

or head over to your local car parts dealer and peruse their connection stuff.

If you are feeding power into the ends of the 100 pixel string, you don't need to inject in the middle. Therefore, no Ts required.

I agree. I do most of my power injection at the end of strings without T's.

In all actuality, if you keep you intensity down, you can run a strand of 100 pixels without power injection in the middle.

I will second this. I run some of mine at 40% and can go near 150 and still have around 11 volts at the end and no noticeable color change.
