    Default Water

I'm thinking of doing an island of misfit toys for all the props I'm not using in my show this year. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a portion of my lawn look like water? I've seen some in videos but can't remember where. As always thanks for your help.

I've seen blue lights strung back and forth about the yard to represent water. Combine that with blue tarps?

I know it may seem counter-intuitive, but try the blue lights below a white plastic sheet. If at all possible, hold the sheet up about 3 inches. The blue light will "spread" across most of the whole white sheet. I first used this at a school dance. We went so far as to place a fan blowing the plastic sheet (gently) to make the water look like it was moving.

I've seen something similar to algerdes idea, but with a layer of clear plastic over the top to give it a wet look.

Blue LED rope lights would probably be better than LED strings.
