    Default pic kit software

    Trying to load pickit2 software on a new windows 10 machine and when i try
    it gives me this Capture.PNG a point in the right direction
    would help me.

    Wonder if I should try a restart? It did not prompt me to after the install

    .net is a windows thing, I doubt it is anything malicious.

    it is telling me to run a visual studio software package to create an app? now i am really confused! what happened to download and istall

    The software is based on the .net framework. Your PC doesn't have it. Say yes and it will download and install it. Simples. This is not an uncommon thing.

    finally figured it out, need to turn .net older installations on in program and features for windows feature settings
